The joy of eavesdropping

Some authors claim their stories and novels were inspired by conversations they overheard. Now you too can access a plethora of overheard snippets and you don't even have to leave the house:

p.s. Do please leave the house occasionally. You need the fresh air.

I came across this blog last week and it's SO funny! I overhear things all the time, the latest was a few days ago hearing an off-duty builder talking down the phone, "Don't think you're staying over, I've got a bird coming over at 7." men!

Oh. I did. In a pub. Two old chaps in a corner. One was telling the other how his grandfather had been kidnapped by frairies (Sussex dialect for faeries). And a book was born.
