Wow! I'm joining the queue! Wow! I'm so getting him to do my photos too!
God, me too. I hate growing old. If I pull my hair back off my face when I have no make up on, I look like....my mother. It freaks me out! x
Blimey. Photos are airbrushed to a ridiculous degree, though. Some of those actresses on the covers of glossy magazines don't even look like themselves by the time they hit the shelves! I'm obviously jealous...
Sod the signing - I want him now!
Eeeewgh, but it's horrible too. I'd hate to have a photo done and then horrify/disappoint everyone in real life! Surely better to do that before they meet me?JJx
Wow. Did you see the blonde one? Completely different face shape. Scary stuff:-)
Fascinating stuff - I mean I know the models in magazines are airbrushed but seeing just how lumpy and bumpy and creasy they are without it is very heartening i will try to remember that next I look in the mirror and want to cry!
But those people were already beautiful. It makes you wonder how far some folk will go in the pursuit of perfection. Me, I need a bit of help. The blonde with the great smile? I don't think so!
Noooooo!! They look horrible - like shop mannequins. I prefer a bit of reality, the lived-in look. I would hate that done to a photo of me.
Funny - I was just having a conversation about this last night. I have a friend who touches up photos for some of the quality glossy mags. She's told me some great stories about famous actresses/models/celebs who are not as they appear! The story that sticks in my mind concerns an actress who had famously lost a huge amount of weight very quickly and was on the cover of one of the fashion mags wearing a revealing frock. My friend spent hours painstakingly erasing all the flaps of loose skin around her arms and back! Not sexy...
Big colourful un-airbrushed award for you over at my place!
