Rewrite

Quite a successful weekend for the re-write considering I didn't do any on Saturday (a girl has to have a day off every now and then right?).

I re-wrote 6,248 words or another 7.6% of novel #1.

The more I revise my novel the happier I am with it and when I skip back and look back at what I've already revised I can see how much better it is (and sometimes the funny bits even make me smile).

23,530 / 85,016 words rewritten (27.6% of novel)

Absolutely right (write!!) You'd be annoyed with yourself if you didn't know you'd done your absolute best. They say the best things in life are worth waiting for anyway :o)

Well done for having Saturday off! Definitely better to get it to a state you're happy with rather than rushing it off. Could you have a 'decorating party' to get the flat done? Or find some other way of convincing people to help you do it so you don't have to spend quite so much time on that?

Karen - Absolutely. I WOULD be annoyed with myself if I sent it off only half polished.

Helen - Hmmm...decorating party. Does that have to involve alcohol? I'm not sure if painting + booze = good combination! Am hoping to rope my poor, long suffering parents into helping (just not sure they know it yet!)

L-Plate - You're absolutely right!
