And at lunch time today...

... I sat in this thing and read short stories. No, i dont know what it is either! It was interesting to watch people's reactions to it. 99% of men kicked it a bit to see how sturdy it was!

You lead such an interesting life. I had my lunch at my desk!

Where is it by the way? X

Good grief! There's an abandoned mattress around the corner from my work but that's about it!

What a weird thing! Good place for people watching though!

Wow I love it!

Looks a bit like 'the bean' in Chicago.

That's, er, an interesting, um, thing! I was in a basement room all morning...

It looks like a giant shell, left by a snail. Not that I'd like to meet that snail ... eugh.

What is is about men? We have a deep well in our garden with a metal grating over it. In order to test if it was safe, Hubby jumped on it with both feet.... (it was, fortunately!)

Sarah - Ha! You're right.

LPlate - I don't know about interesting but I'm trying to get out and about a bit more at lunchtime rather than sitting at my desk. The thing is in central London. Not sure how long it'll be there though. It looks quite temporary.

Tam - Ha! Not exactly the place you'd want to sit and read.

A.Writer - It was. Though I was also stared at a fair bit as though I was part of the attraction!

Yvonne - I'd never heard of that. Will have to google it.

Karen - Is it the sort of basement you can hide in and sneakily do some writing in?

Quillers - it does a bit doesn't it. I thought it looked like a bit that had dropped off an alien craft!

Lucy - It is isn't it. Am hoping it's the start of a new installation thingy and we'll get a new one every month!

Bernadette - Gawd! That sounds like something my Dad would do. Thank God it didn't give way!
