Day 10 - 30 Days Music Challenge

A song that makes you fall asleep...

Now this one is really tricky. I don't have an album I put on to help me fall asleep. I don't really listen to music in my bedroom either - unless you count a bit of Janice Long on the radio on the rare occasion I read in bed!

Right, I'm going to choose a song that strikes me as a bit of an adult lullaby instead.

'Into my Arms' by Nick Cave. Just beautiful!

What song makes you fall asleep?

Aw Nik that's gorgeous. Seriously, right up my street. I could imagine getting that on vinyl and writing to it. Cheers mate! :)

Can't think of any songs as such - things with words generally keep me awake - but for a piece of music I would chose Erik Satie's Gymnopedie No. 1.

I sometimes listen to Michael Bolton late at night on the headphones on my iPad. A Love So Beautiful is one of my favourites, and Said I Loved You But I Lied.

Bernadette - Oooh that's lovely and mellow.

Captain - I'm with you on that one!

Crystal - I met Michael Bolton when I was 16 and doing work experience at BBC Pebble Mill. I was watching him rehearse for a lunchtime programme he was on and he strolled over to me after he'd run through the song and asked me if I'd like to sing instead of him! (he really had no idea quite how bad an idea that was!). I didn't swoon, I thought he was old enough to be my dad! ;)

Prog rock. Not because I don't like it - I do.
